Planning a bachelor party is harder than it looks. Hotels, dinner reservations, nightclub lists and a group of guys who all reply at different times. A bachelor party boat rental in Fort Lauderdale solves most of that in one booking. You get a private boat, a licensed captain and a full day on the water with your best friends.
At Sun Fun FTL, we run captained party boat charters from Fort Lauderdale for groups of up to 30 guests. Here is how to plan a bachelor boat day that people will still be talking about years later.
What Is a Bachelor Party Boat Rental?
A bachelor party boat rental is a private, captained charter for the groom and his crew. You choose the date and time, and the boat is yours for the trip. Most bachelor party charters run 2 to 4 hours, and the cruise can be customized to your group’s energy, from a lively afternoon party to a relaxed sunset ride.
Sun Fun FTL‘s party boat holds up to 30 guests, comes with a professional captain and safety equipment, and can add floats for swimming and lounging in the Intracoastal waters.
Why a Boat Beats a Typical Bachelor Night Out
Everyone stays together. A boat keeps the whole group in one place. Nobody gets lost between bars, and nobody is stuck waiting for an Uber.
It’s a real experience, not just a reservation. Sun, salt air, music and open water make a boat day feel like an event. For a destination bachelor party in South Florida, it is often the highlight of the weekend.
It fits any schedule. Book it as the main event, as a pregame before a night out, or as a recovery day after the wild night. A relaxed float in the sun is a great way to spend the morning after.
It’s easy to organize. The best man does not need to pick a theme, chase down RSVPs or plan transportation between five venues. One booking covers the main event.
What to Expect on Your Sun Fun FTL Bachelor Party Cruise
- A private party boat for up to 30 guests. You have room for the whole crew, including guys who fly at the last minute.
- An experienced captain. Your captain knows the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal and handles the driving, so nobody in your group has to.
- Floats and water are fun. Swimming and lounging on floats break up the cruise and make for great photos.
- A custom setup. You can personalize the cruise with decorations, music playlists and themed touches. The Sun Fun team will help you arrange it.
- Flexible timing. Choose a short afternoon cruise or an extended sunset celebration.
Based at 429 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, the company takes calls and bookings from 8 am to 12 am, seven days a week.
Bachelor Boat Party Ideas
The classic afternoon party. Load up the boat around midday, put on the playlist, drop the floats and let the group enjoy the water. Finish with dinner in town.
The sunset send-off. Book a late-afternoon slot for golden-hour views. It works well as a pregame before the night out, and everyone looks good in the photos.
The themed cruise. Matching shirts, a captain’s-hat-for-the-groom tradition, a “last sail before the veil” theme. Decorations and playlists make the boat feel like your own party.
The recovery cruise. After the big night, a slow, sunny cruise gets the group back on its feet.
